All 40 families who applied for the Adopt-a-Child program have been adopted, but financial help is still needed.
According to Nancy Goellner, monetary donations are needed to help offset the cost of the food which is given to the families for the holidays.
Donations may be submitted to Adopt-a-Child, in care of First Christian Church, PO Box 494 Palmyra, Mo. 63461.
The gift distribution day is Friday, Dec. 21, at the Palmyra Middle School cafeteria (new location).
Gifts are to be brought to the school between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., and the families pick up the gifts between 4 and 5:30 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for that day as well, Goellner said.
