Messenger of Peace is a new theatrical portrait of Francis of Assisi by Franciscan Friar Robert M. Hutmacher, OFM.
A Quincy performance will take place Monday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. in St. Francis Solanus Church at 17th and College Streets.

The 90-minute production consists of ten scenes, each of which conveys the story of a significant person whose life was radically changed by Francis.

The play presents the saint’s powerful message of reconciliation, which these artists feel is needed more than ever in our contemporary world.
