Hannibal Regional is excited to announce the next phase of their expansion and renovation project, which detoured the main hospital entrance starting July 8.

The expansion and renovation project began with the construction of Hannibal Regional Medical Group’s newly constructed Medical Office Building and six new surgery suites at Hannibal Regional Hospital, while the next phase will focus on a renovated entrance and expansion of the hospital.

Starting July 8 the main hospital entrance will be temporarily detoured, and all patients and visitors will access the hospital through the new Hannibal Regional Medical Group entrance.

This entrance faces north (Highway 36) and has a convenient drop off/pick up area as well as designated patient parking at the entrance.

Also, starting that Monday, the new Surgical Patient Drop Off/Pick Up area to the east of the Emergency Room will be utilized for all surgery patients.

All surgery patients can access the hospital through this entrance, which also has designated surgery parking.

A designated website for surgery patients can be found at surgery.hannibalregional.org.

Patients and families entering campus will be directed through signage while maps are available on campus or online at hannibalregional.org.

Hannibal Regional is committed to guiding the community to better, and the last phase of the construction and renovation project will enhance access, expand services and insure privacy through renovation of key hospital areas and services.
