Rain has changed the plans for the 23rd annual Marion County Relay for Life at Flower City Park this Friday, June 7.

Because of the fear of more rain Friday, and because the park is already saturated, the relay will be moved to Palmyra High School.

According to Kathryn McDaniels with the American Cancer Society, the hope is to hold the event in the gym with some booths/games outside in the front of the building and parking lot if weather permits

Otherwise, events would pretty much proceed as planned.

The public is encouraged to attend the event to support the Marion County Relay for Life.
