Patricia Rose Bennett, 64, of Palmyra, Mo., passed away June 21, 2019, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra, following a prolonged illness.
She was born July 1, 1954 in Albuquerque, N.M., the daughter of Frank Grove and Belinda Agnes Loness. She married Robert “Bob” Bennett in 1994. He preceded her in death.
Survivors included three children, Mindy Watts, Philadelphia, Mo.; Scott Yoder, Marquand, Mo.; and Tralisa Kettner, Littleton, Ill.; six grandchildren, Katisha Higgins, Bentonville, Ark.; Shala McCoy, LaGrange, Mo.; Riley Baldwin, Philadelphia; Joey Yoder and Ashley Yoder, both of Fredericktown, Mo.; and Alex Triplett, Littleton; one great-grandchild, Elijah Higgins, Bentonville; and a sister, Joann Kettner, Littleton.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Frank Grove and Belinda Agnes Holder Grove Loness; step-father, Omar L. Loness; sister, Carol Schmeiding; and a brother, Bruce Grove.
Rose didn’t have a lot of hobbies but she did enjoy talking to friends and shopping.
As Rose did not want a funeral, cremation was through Legacy Funeral Services.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
