Warren Calvin Phelps, 93, Palmyra, Mo., passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Mo.

Warren was born April 13, 1925, in Warren, Mo., to Clyde Cecil Phelps and Glenna Jane Gobble Phelps. He was married to Elsie Gertrude Franklin Wisehart on Oct. 17, 1944, in Palmyra. She preceded him in death on August 25, 2015.

Survivors include his sons, Donald (Kathy) Phelps, Champaign, Ill.; and Ronald (Donna) Phelps, Holt Summit, Mo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, two sons, Larry and Charles Phelps; and one grandson, Larry Phelps Jr.

Professionally, Warren worked for Bleigh Construction for around 30 years as a heavy equipment operator. He also welded and was a machinist. He was a true Jack of all trade.

Warren was Christian by faith.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 18, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra. Pastor Dewayne Lorenson will officiate. Burial will be inĀ  Warren Cemetery in Warren, Mo.

Visitation will be held Monday from 1 to 2 p.m., at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Warren Cemetery Upkeep Fund.
