Palmyra High School FCCLA sponsored a backward Prom, or MORP Dance, Friday, March 8.

MORP is all about keeping it simple, with little to no effort in getting ready to go.  Black lights replaced the high school cafeteria lighting.

The neon decorations and clothing really glowed.

Approximately 60 students attended.

The music and lighting were provided by Tim’s PC Music Machine of Kinderhook, Ill..

Elected as king was Mason Scholl. Queen was Lexi Arch.

Crown bearers were Monquail Mozee-Williams and Brooklyn Scholl. In addition to the coronation, students participated in a limbo contest, a ‘safety dance’ contest, and had pictures taken by Angi Mullhatten.

Tracy Fountain was the emcee for the coronation.

Palmyra High School FCCLA currently has 96 members.  Chapter advisers are Marcy Hamilton and Diann Brumbaugh.
