Palmyra R-1 School district is pleased to announce, in conjunction with the Monroe County Health Department, its second annual immunization clinic which will be held during registration week for all incoming eighth and 12th grade students needing their required immunizations.

According to Missouri state law, all eighth graders are required to have a Tdap and meningococcal vaccine and all 12th graders are required to have a meningococcal vaccine prior to the first day of school.

The immunization clinic will take place on Monday, Aug. 5, at the high school gymnasium from 9 to 11 a.m. and 12 to 3 p.m.

At this time, it is only being offered to those students entering eighth and 12th grade.

A parent and/or guardian must accompany each participating student and a fee will be charged.

If the student is enrolled in Missouri Medicaid, you must bring your Medicaid card with you at the time of service or a non-refundable fee will be charged.
