Each year, the Palmyra Young Farmers proudly support the local FFA chapter  by awarding scholarships to Career Development Event team members who excel at any one of the State FFA contests.

This year, a total of six outstanding seniors will receive a shared total of $7,500. The recipients were Gradey Crowe, Jared DeHaan, Brett Griesbaum, Tisha Richmond, Zachary Rosenkrans and Bennett Sutter.

The scholarship funds are made available thanks to the community support given to the two major events that the Young Farmers hold each year.

The spring machinery sale has grown over the past few years into one of the largest consignment auctions in the area, and the recently-held tractor pull always wraps up the final night of the county fair.

For both events, the PYF are extremely grateful for the additional help and sponsorship they receive from individuals and businesses to make each event a success!
