Another sign the Panthers are an offensive force to be reckoned with: they hit for the cycle within the first six batters in the bottom of the first en route to a 15-1 win over Highland last Tuesday.
Palmyra pounded out 12 hits, including six for extra bases, in going 16-4 on the season and 4-0 in the Clarence Cannon Conference.
The Panthers have double-digit scoring in 12 of their 18 games so far this season.
Six of their games have not gone the full seven innings.
The team batting average is .379.
They have hit 17 home runs and 61 extra base hits.
The Panthers scored all three of their runs in the third and held Hallsville to a first-inning run for a 3-1 road victory last Monday.
Palmyra was out-hit 6-4, but used two of them to great advantage in the third to account for the offense.
