The PHS varsity boys basketball team fell to 4-2 in conference play with a 62-59 loss at Monroe City last Tuesday.

Palmyra got out to a 10-5 lead and maintained that five point lead at going into the third quarter when Monroe City drew even with a 21-16 run.

Monroe City then out-scored Palmyra 19-17 down the stretch.

The Panthers helped themselves at the line, but it wasn’t enough, sinking 21 of 26 for the game including all 12 in the fourth quarter.
