The PHS varsity golf team tied for fourth place out of 11 teams at the Hannibal Invitational Tournament, Friday.

Palmyra shot a 387 to tie with Kirksville for fourth place behind Father Tolton (348), and Hannibal (356), Troy (364) and ahead of Macon (398), Highland (403), Clark County (410), South Shelby (420), Hannibal JV (452) and Monroe City (532).

“It was a bitterly cold and very windy day,” said Coach Marty Smyser. “I felt like we all went out there and just kept grinding to finish the round.  I’m proud of how we are competing right now."
