Lady Panther golf team competes at Boonville

The PHS varsity girls golf team competed in a two-person scramble tournament at Boonville Friday, finishing sixth out of eight teams.

Palmyra shot a 302 to finish behind Blair Oaks, 253, Osage, 261, Boonville, 268, Battle, 282, and Dushesne, 300, but ahead of California, 339, and Odessa, 352.

Six other schools competed, but did not receive a team score including Eldon, which had the winning pair, Kassidy Hull and Kylie Kliethermes, who shot a 71.

Mallory Comstock and Mallory Sublette led Palmyra with an 89.

The Lady Panthers junior varsity placed fifth out of 11 teams at two-person scramble meet at Paris Wednesday.

Palmyra was led by the pairs of Ella Goldinger and Taytum Parsons, and Ava Weiman and Kaylee Warning with 99s.  Alyssa Meyers and Hailey Begley shot a 122.
