Courtney Lee Ann Griffith
Courtney Lee Ann Griffith, 20, Hannibal, Mo., passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, in Hannibal.
Courtney was born Nov. 11, 1999, in Hannibal, to Rodney L. Griffith and Stacey Schmidt Dunkle. She was a graduate of Palmyra High School.

Survivors include her mother, Stacey (Steve) Dunkle; grandparents, Terry and Connie Schmidt and Bobby and Connie Griffith; brother, Hunter Lee Griffith; and sister, Heather Taylor.
Courtney was preceded in death by her father, Rodney L. Griffith; and her niece, Sophie Marie Taylor.
Courtney was full of life with a servant’s heart and an artistic soul. She loved listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
She was training to become a CNA at Maple Lawn Nursing Home where she enjoyed working with the residents.
Our “Shorty Shortcake” will always be remembered for her big heart and sweet generous nature!
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday Oct. 22, at the United Methodist Church of Palmyra, Mo. Pastor Eric Anderson will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Maple Lawn Nursing Home Activities Fund.
The family is being served by Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.
