Pamela S. Appel, 66, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Mo .
Pamela was born April 24, 1954, in Quincy, Ill. to Roy L. and Betty Young Bridgman. She was married to Stephen L. Appel on Feb. 26, 1973. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Candance (Gary Anduss) Appel, Lora (Kyle) Vail and Jennifer (Charles) Biffle; brother, Daniel (Julie) Bridgman; sisters, Patricia (Daniel) Smith and Paula Jones; and grandchildren, Megan Anduss, Caelyn Anduss, Taylor Vail, Kelsey Vail, Hayden Doyle and Bailey Doyle.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Charles Appel.
Pamela worked for both Pamida and retired from the Shell gas station in Palmyra.
She enjoyed reading, working on puzzle books, drawing and crocheting. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Funeral services for Pamela will start at 11 a.m., Tuesday Nov. 10, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel. Pastor Dewayne Larenson will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Vail, Charles Biffle, Ronnie Foster, Howard Kroeger, Rick Foster and Jesse White.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Megan, Caelyn, Taylor, Kelsey, Hayden and Bailey.
Friends and family are invited to Pamela’s life celebration at a visitation that will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.
