Behring files for council in Ward 3

There are now candidates for  mayor and all three Palmyra City Council seats in the April 6 election.

Pam Behring filed Monday to run for re-election to the council from Ward 3.

She joins Rusty Adrian, who is running for mayor, along with two other council candidates, Brock Fahy, an incumbent from Ward 1, and Andrew Salsman from Ward 2.

No new candidates had filed, as of Monday, for the Palmyra R-I and Marion County R-II school boards.

Filing is also under way for the Palmyra Fire Protection District, Marion County Ambulance District, Marion County Nursing Home District and Marion County Emergency Services boards.

The filing period began Dec. 15 and runs through Jan. 19.
