Mustangs’ season ends with loss at districts

The Marion County R-II boys basketball team saw its season come to an end with an 85-33 loss at Green City in the quarterfinals of the Class 1, District 11 Tournament Saturday.

The Mustangs (1-19) ended the regular season with a 68-24 loss at South Shelby, Thursday.

Scoring for Marion County were Spencer Whetstone, nine, Wyatt Goldinger, seven, Root Cheney, four, Jackson Stewart, two, and Cooper Stots, two.
