Flower Children to hold Relay For Life fundraisers

The Flower Children, American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Team, is teaming up with two local businesses to raise funds for the Relay For Life of Marion County.
El Nopal Mexican Restaurant located at 855 Marion City Road in Palmyra is hosting a “Flower Children” night Monday, May 3.
A portion of the proceeds from dinner sales that evening will be donated to The Flower Children for Relay For Life.
Participants are urged to arrive early to get a head start on Cinco de Mayo, enjoy some delicious Mexican food and drink and help support the American Cancer Society in their battle against cancer.
“The Flower Children want to thank El Nopal and all of their customers for supporting Relay For Life,” said Mark Bross, a team member.
With Mother’s Day quickly approaching May 9, Flowers For You is having a special promotion for Mom and Relay For Life.
Flowers For You is selling 10” Premium Hanging Baskets for Mother’s Day with a portion of the proceeds for each basket sold being donated to The Flower Children for Relay For Life.
Flowers For You is located at 1026 S. Main Street in Palmyra. Participants can call 573-769-0404 to order or reserve baskets.
The baskets can be picked up at Flowers For You or will be delivered in their normal delivery territory in the Palmyra area for Mother’s Day.
“El Nopal Mexican Restaurant, Flowers For You, and the Palmyra area community have continually supported The Flower Children in its efforts to raise money for the Relay For Life of Marion County,” Bross said. “The Flower Children would like to thank El Nopal and Flowers For You for continuing their support this year through these unique and special ways, and the Palmyra area community for supporting these local businesses and Relay For Life.”
