The Class 3, District 7 baseball tournament being hosted by Palmyra is getting delayed by the weather.
The top seeded Panthers were supposed to play in the semifinals Monday, but as of Monday afternoon, the game had been pushed back to Wednesday.
Barring more setbacks, Palmyra is now set to play at 4 p.m. Wednesday against the winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal between fourth-seeded Mark Twain and fifth-seeded Highland.
The winner will advance to the championship game at a time to be decided and play the winner of Wednesday’s semifinal between second-seeded Clark County and third-seeded Monroe City.
The champions will advance to sectionals set for Tuesday, May 25.
