Norma Elaine Herrick Lake
Norma Elaine Herrick Lake, 88, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 10:55 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra.
Norma was born Sept. 13, 1932, in Hannibal, Mo., to Robey Herrick, Sr. and Stella Hudson Herrick. She was married to Lewis “Lee” Lake on Dec. 29, 1951 in Ozark, Mo. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2006.

Survivors include her two children, Barbara Webb and Karen Hudelson; five grandchildren, Michael (Nicki), Jansen, Charlie, Mark, and Dustin; and 10 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Isaac, Matthew, Adeline, Emily, Geneva, Grace, Ayva, Lilly and Urijah.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Howard Herrick and Robey Herrick, Jr.; and one sister, Betty Martin.
Norma was a homemaker.
She was talented at knitting and crocheting. She was also very family-oriented and enjoyed the time she could spend with them, especially watching their sporting events.
Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Palmyra.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 27, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel. Pastor Dwayne Lorenson will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra.
Casual attire is encouraged for anyone attending the services.
Pallbearers will be Larry Lake, Jansen Taylor, Michael Hudelson, Dustin Hudelson, Mark Wilson and Charlie Webb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Splinter Hoehne, Chuck Hoehne and Chris Carlstead.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation that will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, July 17, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to Maple Lawn Nursing Home.
