Marvin Jay Edmunds, 65, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 5:52 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, at his home in Palmyra.

Marvin was born Sept. 22, 1955, in Hannibal, Mo., to Marvin Jay and Althie Mariba Householder Edmunds.
Survivors include his sister, Anna Herold, Palmyra; nephews, Nathan Herold and Ryan Herold (Angela); niece, Leila Burch (Monte); great-nieces, Sierra Burch (Aaron Purcell), Claremore, Okla.; and Breyahna, Tegan and Airabella Herold; and great-nephews, Zach and Mason Burch.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Butch Herold; and great-niece, Savanah Herold.
In his younger years Marvin farmed on the family farm with his father. While farming he also worked at Schwartz Implement in many facets. Following that he worked for Allied Maintenance at American Cyanamid as a maintenance technician and later as a parts man.
Marvin was an avid motorcyclist and a member of the Harley Owners Group and the River Roads Chapter #912 of Harley owners. He was a past member of the Retreads American Motorcycle Association and the Moose Lodge in Quincy, Ill. He loved riding his motorcycle along with his parents and even took road trips to Sturgis.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, at Lewis Brothers. Pastor Dave Wilson will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m until the time of service on Saturday at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel.
