Gregory W. Peters
Gregory W. Peters, 62, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at his home.
Gregory was born Oct. 14, 1958, in Marion County, Mo. to Cecil W. and Ruth A. Stuhlman Peters.

Survivors include his brother, Dale Peters, and wife, Debbie; niece, Brandy Peters (Travis Spicknall), and children, Tyler and Brayton Spicknall; nephews, Daric Crane, and his sons, Hunter, Kaden and Carter Crane; Tony Franklin and children, Mason and Quinn Franklin; Matt Crane and children, Kaelyn and Kamren Crane.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Greg was a graduate of Palmyra High School with the Class of 1978. He was an over the road truck driver for Gully Transportation, Sisbro Inc. and most recently Lomax Trucking Service in Hannibal, Mo.
He loved his toys, boats, campers, pickup trucks, motorcycles, golf carts, etc. He loved his time spent at the Mississippi River with his many friends and family.
He also looked forward to a decades old annual tradition of camping and fishing trips to Canada with his friends.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice.
The family is being served by Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.
