Tammi S. Fitzpatrick Rieff
Tammi S. Fitzpatrick Rieff, 41, Hannibal, Mo., and formerly of Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 2:22 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.
Tammi was born Feb. 23, 1980, in Kansas City, Kan., to Debra Sue Fitzpatrick.

Survivors include her son, Alex Baker, Palmyra; aunt, Janet Hagerty (Steve), Palmyra; uncle, Dennis Fitzpatrick, Palmyra; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Jim and Sue Fitzpatrick; and cousin, Lindsey Fitzpatrick.
Tammi was a graduate of Palmyra High School, Class of 1999. She worked for several years as a nurse’s aide and in laundry services for Willow Care, Beth Haven and Maple Lawn Nursing Homes.
She worked with youth group and youth choir at Philadelphia Baptist Church.
During her free time, she enjoyed listening to music of all kinds, but with a special appreciation for Garth Brooks, her favorite! Springtime was the best time of year for Tammi who cherished being with her friends and family enjoying life.
She was a sweet and courageous woman who fought very hard in the battle for her health. She loved her cats, NASCAR and Cardinal’s baseball, but most of all, she was a very proud mom to her son, Alex.
A graveside memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra. Rev. Robert Axton will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Baker, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dillion Quick, Jordan Hagerty, James Hagerty and Josh Hagerty.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
