Terry L. Suter
Terry L. Suter, 65, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 8:14 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at his home.
Terry was born April 13, 1956, in Edina, Mo., to Russell Wallace Suter and Mary Jo Roberts Nierling. He was married to Nora Hallengren on June 11, 1983, in Durham, Mo. She survives.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Suter, Palmyra; children, Melissa Geist (Paul Ruppert), Brandy Geist (Tyson Dade), Terry Jo Suter (Tricia), and Crystal Breault (Darren); grandchildren, Nathan Bauman (Lashell), Samantha Geist (Dennis), Chase Bauman (Samantha), Shelby Guerra (Kevon), Bahelea Geist, Riley Guerra (Jordan Sr.), Suey Wyatt, Amanda Geist, Maribelle Geist, Levi Suter, Jameson White, Sydney Cook, Ryleigh Butler, Baylee Butler, Dylan Suter, Abigail Suter, Alex Breault, Brooke Breault, Elexa Breaul, and Arya Breault; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Nolan, Lincoln and Leo Bauman, Amara Lynn Geist, Jacob Bauman, Kevon James Jr. Davis, Kelbeigh Davis, Faith and Braxton Geist, and Jordan Baldwin Jr.; brothers, Larry Suter (Desi), Jack Suter (Linda) and Quinn Nierling; sisters, Angie Hanson (Jim), Sandy Hatfield and Lora Suter Washburn (Jeff Ewalt).
Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; daughter, Tamela Geist; brother, Clinton Nierling; nephews, Andrew and Kyle Suter; and niece, Makinzey Nierling.
Terry retired from Titan Wheel in Quincy, Ill., after 25 years of service.
He was a very active person. In his life he enjoyed many activities including bowling and fishing with his father in Keokuk, Iowa and tinkering with his cars and trucks or just about anything automotive. Most of all Terry loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Terry was very special to his family and will be missed dearly by them all.
A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the funeral home.Pastor Dave Wilson will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery in Palmyra.
Friends and family are invited to Terry’s life celebration at a visitation that will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.
