Nancy Lou Fagan Reese, 82, Wentzville, Mo., departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.  

Nancy was born July 5, 1939, in Philadelphia, Mo., to Herbert Arthur Fagan and Edna Mae Fagan nee Cramer. She married Marion Neil Reese on Oct. 12, 1958, in Philadelphia.  Together they had three children.

She is survived by her two daughters, Neala Bowman and Nita (Don) Samuelson, and son, Marty Reese; seven grandchildren, Cody (Sherri) Bowman, Cassie Cowen, Danielle (Dan) Stone, Whitney (Ben) Pogrelis, Brittney (Jimmy Koch) Reese, Clayton Cowen and Connor Reese; and six great-grandchildren, Elle Blattel, Thatcher Reese, Maelynn Bowman, Jolene Bowman, Benson Pogrelis and Quincy Koch.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Glenna Sue Grohe; and son-in-law, Ralph Bowman.

Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis and participated in Women’s Missionary Union by visiting residents of local nursing homes, along with welcoming newborn babies of the church. 

Nancy was an “Avon Lady” for many years, achieving many Presidents Club awards for sales. Afterwards she worked in the fabric department of Walmart until her retirement. 

Nancy’s greatest joy was to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Services will be held Friday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville. Bural will be at Grand View Funeral Home and Burial Park in Hannibal, Mo.

A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, Oct. 11, at the funeral home.
