Marion County R-II School will hold its annual Veteran’s Day assembly at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in the school’s gymnasium.

Veterans or active duty service members with family members who are students in the school are welcome to attend, along with members of the community.

The assembly will include performances of patriotic music by the school’s band and choir, the viewing of a special veteran’s video, recognition of veterans and a special speaker, Col. Lance A. O’Bryan.

Veterans are also welcome to enjoy a special pancake breakfast in the cafeteria at 8 a.m.
