Downtown Palmyra decorative trees and bushes are being dressed up for Christmas through a contest being hosted by the Palmyra Parks & Recreation Department. Businesses and individuals could sign up to decorate one of the trees or bushes. The winner will be the one that receives the most votes. Persons wishing to vote can do so at city hall from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and at the park department office in Flower City Park from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pictured are Palmyra Spectator employees Jenny Ryals and Bridget Hudson, decorating one of the trees.
