The PHS varsity girls basketball team finished the 2021 portion of their schedule with a 69-11 blowout win at home over Louisiana last Monday.

The Lady Bulldogs were down to seven players due to illness and were unable to keep up with the Lady Panthers who go into the new year with a 6-3 record.
Palmyra held Louisiana to four, first half points and the entire fourth quarter was played with a continuous clock.
Clare Williams sank three three-pointers in scoring a game-high 15 points.
Also scoring were Jansen Juette, 12, Sydney Compton, 11, Candra King, 11, Taytum White, 10, Bella McBride, four, Jaynee Durst, four, and Ashley Bode, two.
The Lady Panthers open the new year Monday, Jan. 3, against Clark County in the quarterfinals of the Highland Tournament.
