The Republican race for presiding commissioner has grown to three.
Gerre Feigenspan, of Hannibal, filed this past week to run for Marion County presiding commissioner in the August primary election.
He joins the incumbent, David Lomax, of Palmyra, and Eddie Bogue, Palmyra in seeking the county-wide position.
The filing period for those interested in running for county offices during the Aug. 2 primary election ends at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 29.
Filing takes place at the Marion County Clerk’s office, 100 S. Main, St., Suite 107, in Palmyra, Mo.
