The “Flower Children” team of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is hosting their 20th annual “Spring Fling” Saturday, April 23, at the American Legion Hall – Post 174 in Palmyra.  

The fun-filled evening includes a social hour at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and auction at 7:15 p.m.  

The meal is being catered by HATS Restaurant with an entree choice of KC strip steak or smothered pork loin.  

Spring Fling offers everyone a chance to “celebrate” those who have survived cancer and those who are currently battling cancer, “remember” those who have lost their fight to cancer and “fight back” against a disease that knows no boundaries.  

Spring Fling will have both live and silent auctions featuring over 200 items donated by local and regional individuals and businesses with something for everyone.  

Auction items will include tickets for the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and NASCAR® XFinity and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races in Kansas City, hand-crafted items and furniture, overnight hotel stays, restaurant and spa gift certificates, auto care products, show tickets and many more items.  

The Flower Children will once again accept major credit cards at this year’s Spring Fling.
