Justin Thomas Eastburn, 45, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 10:55 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home in Palmyra.

Justin was born Oct. 12, 1976, in Hannibal, Mo., to Julian Thomas Eastburn and Connie (Lake) Eastburn Lieurance.

Survivors include his mother, Connie (Lake) Lieurance (Butch); daughter, Loren Dornberger (Austen); son, Isaac Eastburn; granddaughter, Laney M. Dornberger; sisters, Julie A. Redd (Jamie) and Heather M. Rice; step-brother, Aaron Lieurance (Lindsay); and grandfather, James L. Lake.

Justin was preceded in death by his dad, Julian T. Eastburn; grandmother, Betty Lake; and grandparents, J.R. and Mary Eastburn.

 Justin was a caring and compassionate father and grandfather. He was building a very special relationship with his granddaughter, Laney. 

Justin was a bit of a homebody, but he enjoyed being outdoors, grilling, mushroom hunting and playing with his grandchild. He was a talented concrete artist, able to create just about anything with the medium. 

He enjoyed music of all kinds and the Philadelphia Eagles, and loved his family and close friends beyond measure.

Justin was Christian by faith.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 15, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra. Pastor Lance Bonnell will officiate. Burial will follow at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Gray, Shane Despres, Danny Boulware, Ash Augspurg, Tyler Redd and Travis Rice.

Honorary pallbearers will be Isaac Eastburn, Austen Dornberger and Jamie Redd.

Friends and family are invited to Justin’s life celebration at a visitation that will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 14, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel.

Memorials may be made to the family payable to Loren Dornberger for his granddaughter’s education fund.
