Knox Henry Thomas Barnes

Knox Henry Thomas Barnes “Boy boy,” 10 months old, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 2:52 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Knox was born Sept. 3, 2021, in Hannibal, Mo., to Kaylee Barnes and Savion Spradlin.

Survivors include his mother, Kaylee Barnes; father, Savion Spradlin; grandmother, Melissa Watson (Eric East); sisters, Aleah Barnes and Gracious Manley; aunts and uncles, Donovan Barnes, Kassidy Bock, Jessica Nichelson, Ricky Paul Barnes and Amaya Palmer; and numerous multi-generational family members.

Knox was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ricky Dean Barnes, great-uncles, John Henry Watson and Daniel “Boone” Watson; great-grandma, Vickie Kay Watson; and great-grandpa, Chuck Haynes.

Knox, affectionately called “Boy Boy” or “Bubby” by his family, was an adorable little boy who loved to annoy his sister, who loved him very much. 

His short life had a big impact on all of his family who cherished every moment of his antics with his mom and sisters. 

He enjoyed watching and dancing to Coco Melon cartoons and being fun and silly. His big beautiful eyes and dazzling smile will always be remembered by anyone who was blessed to know little Knox.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

 The family is being served by Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel and they will be holding a celebration of life for Knox at a later date.
