PHS football fans can get a preview of the Panthers in action during this Friday’s Hannibal Football Jamboree.
The scrimmaging is scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m. at Porter Stadium, with teams from Hannibal, Bowling Green, Mark Twain, Highland and Clark County also sharing the artificial playing surface.
Palmyra will open at 6 p.m. on the east end of the field against Mark Twain. The Panthers will then take a break while Mark Twain and Highland go at it, and then resume against Highland.
Clark County, Bowling Green and Hannibal will scrimmage simultaneously on the west end of the field.
Each team will run 18 consecutive offensive plays against the other team, before going on defense for 18 plays.
Referees will be calling penalties, with turnovers considered dead ball situations.
