The PHS varsity girls golf team took fourth place at the 17-team Paris Scramble last Wednesday.
The Lady Panthers shot a 180 to finish behind only New Bloomfield (176), Centralia (176) and Hallsville (178), but ahead of Cairo (181), Marceline (183), Salibury (184), Harrisburg (185), Moberly (196) and Brookfield (197). Seven other schools did not complete a team score.
Palmyra’s Ella Goldinger and Ava Weiman shot an 87 to place third overall.
Also competing for Palmyra were Kaylee Warning and Kylie Begley (93) and Candra King and Haylie Begley (99).
