The PHS girls and boys cross country teams competed at the Quincy Notre Dame Raider Classic in Quincy, Ill., last Tuesday.
The boys team took eighth place out of 10 teams.
Jacob Barnes was Palmyra’s top finisher, placing 41st out of 84 runners with a time of 20:09.8.
Also competing were: Carter Harper, 56th, 21:21.4; Wesley Summers, 63rd, 22:27.1; and Ashton Lovegreen, 70th, 23:03.0.
In girls competition, Aly Noland finished 10th out of 74 runners with a time of 22:13.4.
Lillian Cramlett finished 70th at 32:46.8.
