Local businesses will once again have the opportunity to showcase themselves at the Palmyra Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Awards Banquet, Thursday, Jan. 12.
Sponsors will be able to decorate their tables and highlight their products or services or surprise guests with a theme, such as a movie, chocolate or “winter wonderland.”
Tables of eight are available for sponsorship. Small businesses may choose to sponsor half a table, going in with another Chamber member.
They then:
• Provide an item for the center of the table that will be a door prize for someone seated at that table.
• Provide a small item at each place setting as a favor for each person at the table. Any items placed on the table will be considered prizes.
A business does not need to buy tickets for seating at that table. Anyone may choose to sit where they like what they see.
The Chamber will have Msgr. Farischon Hall open between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m., Jan. 12 to provide time to decorate tables.
Or businesses may bring decorations to the Chamber office prior to this date, and have the decorating done for them.
The Chamber will be responsible for the tablecloths, napkins and table service for all tables. The Chamber will also provide a small sign with the name of the company which will be placed on the decorated table.
