The Marion County R-II boys cross country teams finished 13th out of 16 teams at the MSHSAA State Class 1 Championships in Columbia Saturday.
Competing at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course, the Mustangs finished with point total of 306, 22 points behind 12th place Tarkio and four ahead of 14th place Montrose.
Hermitage won the meet with 51 points, followed by Van Buren, second place, 89, and Oak Ridge, third place, 95.
Finishing for Marion County were: Porter Britt, 67th out of 171 runners, at 19:14.9; Levi Wright, 90th, 19:41.3; Wyatt Tuley, 111th, 19:58.7; Jackson Stewart, 117th, 20:05.8; Mason Wood, 149th, 21:07.0; Shawn Martin, 155th, 21:27.7; and Joey Lageman, 168th, 23:58.2.
West Nodaway’s Riley Blay was the top individual with a time of 16:28.2.

Porter Britt finished 67th at state.

Levi Wright finished 90th at state.

Wyatt Tuley finished 111th at state.

Jackson Stewart finished 117th at state.

Mason Wood finished 149th at state.

Shawn Martin finished 155th at state.

Joey Lageman finished 168th at state.
