Irvin Lee Wilson, 88, Maywood, Mo., passed away at 8:08 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, Mo.

Irvin Lee Wilson was born in Maywood on Nov. 7, 1934, to Chester and Irene King Wilson on the family farm where he lived his whole life. He was united in marriage to Delores Schneider Green on Aug. 24, 1962. She preceded him in death on Nov. 28, 2014.
He is survived by daughters, Tonya (John) Redd, St. Peters, Mo.; Judy (Kenny) Colliver, Monroe City, Mo.; and Susan (Jack) Jones, Columbia, Mo. He is also survived by grandchildren, Kim (Rodney) Bainter, Julie Powell, Miriam (Bernie) Denton, Brittany (Adam) Taussig, Corey Jones, Mandi (Jacob) Johnson and Chad Colliver; nine great-grandchildren of whom two are twin boys who he enjoyed so much; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Professionally, farming was a way of life for Irvin, while also working other jobs at Marlboro Wire, Motorola and Gardner Denver over the years.
He enjoyed farming, classic cars and especially his grandchildren. Irvin was also a proud member of the National Guard for eight and a half years.
Irvin was a member of Hester Baptist Church.
Burial and graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, at Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra. Pastor Mark Carpenter will officiate. The family would like to welcome anyone who would like to come by the family home to visit for a wake from 1 to 4 p.m.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Baker, Glen Meyers, David Griesbaum, Maurice Stoner, Rick Meyers, Jamie Redd, Steve Booher and Jerry Ashelmann.
Memorials may be made to Hester Baptist Church Cemetery, Maywood Baptist Church Cemetery or Greenwood Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra.
