The Marion County Extension Council held its annual dinner last Monday at Hall’s Hall in Palmyra. The event featured the presentation of awards, the swearing in of new council members and officers as well as a presentation by Ethan Hall and Ayden Shortridge, two 4-H members from Marion County, about their experiences last year as members of the Missouri 4-H State Shooting Team. Hall, a PHS student and member of the Fabius 4-H Club, took third place at nationals in air pistol, while Shortridge, a member of the Stone 4-H Club, and Hall were part of the team that took fifth place nationally.
