The PHS boys were seeded first and the girls second in the Class 3 District 6 Basketball Tournament in Monroe City Feb. 20-24.
The Panthers received a first-round bye and will play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, against the winner of Monday’s quarterfinal between fourth-seeded Clark County and fifth-seeded Monroe City.
The winner will advance to the title game set for 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24.
Second-seeded South Shelby also received a first-round bye and will play Wednesday against the winner of Monday’s quarterfinal between third-seeded Mark Twain and sixth-seeded Highland.
The Lady Panthers also received a first-round bye and will play at 6 p.m. Thursday against the winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal between third-seeded Monroe City and sixth-seeded Mark Twain.
The winner will advance to the title game set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25.
Top-seeded South Shelby will play Thursday against the winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal between fourth-seeded Highland and fifth-seeded Clark County.
