The Marion County R-II boys are seeded fifth and the girls sixth in the Class 1, District 11 Tournament in LaPlata Feb. 20-25.
The Mustangs will open tournament play at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 against fourth-seeded Novinger, with the winner advancing to the semifinals to play top-seeded Atlanta at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.
The other boys quarterfinal games Feb. 20 feature second-seeded North Shelby against seventh-seeded Bevier, and third-seeded Brashear against sixth-seeded LaPlata.
The boys title game is set for 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24.
The Lady Mustangs will open at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 against third-seeded Novinger with the winner advancing to the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, to play the winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal between second-seeded Atlanta and seventh-seeded Bevier.
The winner of the other girls quarter final Feb. 21 between fourth-seeded LaPlata and fifth-seeded Brashear will advance to the semifinals and play Thursday against top-seeded North Shelby.
The title game is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25.
