Two annual Palmyra events drew large crowds Saturday evening at their respective venues. At left, 375 people attended
the annual Daddy/Daughter Dance, hosted by Palmyra Parks & Recreation in the Sesquicentennial Building. The event included a pancake and sausage meal provided by the Palmyra Kiwanis Club followed by a dance. Also Saturday, the Lewis & Marion County Cattlemen’s Association hosted its annual banquet in the American Legion Hall (right). A steak dinner was followed by a live auction to help raise money for scholarships to 30 students from the two counties seen below being honored by those attending.
