Bear Bock
Three Panthers were named to the 2022-2023 Clarence Cannon Conference Boys All-Conference Basketball team.
Bear Bock was a unanimous choice to the first team, while Carson Hicks made the second team, and Tyler Banta, honorable mention.
Bock, a junior, led the Panthers with a 13 points per game, nine rebounds per game and five assists per game averages.
Hicks, a junior, averaged 11 points, five rebounds and one assist per game.
Banta, a senior, averaged five points, three rebounds an one assist per game.
The Panthers finished in a three-way tie with Centralia and South Shelby for second place in the conference at 5-2, behind Macon at 7-0.
Macon’s Boston Douglas was named CCC Player of the Year after leading his team to an undefeated league title. Macon Coach Dale Davenport was named Coach of the Year.
