The Marion County R-II boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Palmyra Open meet Thursday.

Mustangs placing in the top 10 were:

Levi Wright, third place in the 1600 meters at 4:59.47 and fifth place in the 3200 meters at 10:55.86;

the fifth place 4 x 800 meter relay team at 9:33.29; and

the ninth place 4 x 400 meter relay team at 4:01.28.

Lady Mustangs placing in the top 10 were:

Samantha Kindhart, ninth place in the discus at 28.36 meters and ninth place in the shot put at 9.03 meters; and

Kennedy Hathaway, 10th place in the 100 meter hurdles at 20.01.
