Charles Edward Bryant
Charles Edward Bryant, 82 Phoenix, Ariz., died June 8, 2023.
Charles was born Feb. 5, 1941, in Palmyra, Mo., a son of Helen Louise and Nathaniel Bryant Sr.

He graduated from Palmyra High School in 1958. He was KHMO basketball player of the year, 1957-58.
After high school, he served in the United States Air Force as military police and was honorably discharged in 1969.
He married Rochelle Thomason Williams in Quincy, Ill., on Dec. 6, 1969.
In 2001 he retired from Citizens Equity First Credit Union (CEFCU) in Peoria, Ill., where he was the manager of the phone a loan program.
At the time of his death, he had enjoyed many wonderful years in Phoenix, Ariz. with his wife. As he said many times “I’ve had a good life.”
He is survived by his loving wife, Rochelle; sisters, Kathy Jones (Charles) and Charlotte Marbury (Anthony); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Nathaniel Bryant Jr. and James Bryant.
There will be no services.
