The Marion County Fair roared to a successful close with Saturday evening’s Superpull (right), sponsored by the Palmyra Young Farmers. The fair had events for all ages as illustrated by a young girl participating in the Pee Wee Horse Show, Tuesday; the junior fair livestock auction, where John Browning calls out a bid for one of Clare William’s show sheep; youngsters enjoying a wild ride at the carnival; and a mini derby during Friday’s demolition derby hosted by the Palmyra Jaycees.
