The PHS girls tennis team went to 6-3 on the season with wins over Mexico, Hannibal and Kirksville, along with a loss to Quincy High School.
Palmyra reached the six-win mark with a 6-3 win at home over Kirksville last Tuesday.
Winning singles matches were Molly Gottman, 8-2, Kenie Bollin, 8-3, Natalie Bartz, 8-4, and Maggie Keim, 8-3.
Bollin and Bartz won their doubles match 8-1.
Palmyra also hosted Hannibal for a 7-2 victory, Sept. 18.
Winning singles matches were Gottman, 8-6, Maria Meyer, 8-3, Bollin, 8-1, and Keim, 8-1.
Winning doubles matches were Gottman and Laura Noland, 8-2, Meyer and Keim, 8-5, and Bollin and Bartz, 8-1.
Palmyra lost, 4-5, at QHS, Sept. 14.
Winning singles matches were Bartz, 8-6, and Keim, 8-5.
Winning doubles matches were Gottman and Noland, 8-5, and Bollin and Bartz, 8-5.
Palmyra won 5-4 at Mexico Sept. 12.
Winning singles matches were Meyer, 8-3, Bartz, 8-3, and Keim, 8-0.
