Bernard F. Hirner

Bernard F. Hirner, 74, Palmyra, Mo., passed away at 6:05 p.m., Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at his home in Palmyra.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Palmyra. Father Gerald Kaimann will officiate. Burial with full military rites performed by Boots-Dickson Post 174 of the American Legion will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Hirner, Tony Hirner, Greg Foster, Bruce Foster, Joe Hirner, John Hirner, Justin Krekemeyer, and Charlie Hirner. 

Memorials may be made to Great River Honor Flight.

Friends and family are invited to Bernard’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
