Three members of the Marion County R-II boys cross country team competed in the Class 1, Missouri State High School Activities Association cross country championships held at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia Friday.
Porter Britt (left), a junior, led the Mustangs with a 37th finish out of 170 runners in a time of 18:06.9.
Levi Wright (right), competing for the final time as a senior, finished 53rd in a time of 18:21.7;
Rheo Schluckebier (center), a junior, came in at 104th in a time of 19:16.7.
West Nodaway’s Riley Blay won individual title in a time of 15:48.2.
Hermitage took the team title while Van Buren finished second and Oak Ridge, third.
