PALMYRA, Mo. — The Palmyra Food Pantry is urgently seeking donations to address a significant shortage of food and resources this holiday season.
Community members are encouraged to contribute nonperishable food items or make monetary donations to help meet the needs of local families. Nonperishable food items, including canned goods, can be dropped off or picked up by contacting Madonna Watters at 573-795-5755. Monetary donations, which allow the pantry to purchase fresh produce and other essentials, can be made via Venmo (@Madonna-Watters24), by mailing a check to Madonna Watters at 5254 County Road 279, Palmyra, MO 63461, or in cash. Receipts are available for all contributions.
Donation Event on Dec. 14
On Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, from 8 a.m. to noon, Watters will be collecting donations at B Creative in Palmyra. Donors who drop off 10 nonperishable food items or contribute $25 will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card, courtesy of Watters Equipment Salvage and Dale and Madonna Watters.
The Palmyra Food Pantry appreciates all donations and support during this critical time. Community members are invited to contribute to ensure that those in need receive help this holiday season.
The pantry extends holiday wishes to all, thanking the community for its generosity and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
